Four piece noise-pop band Chastity Belt formed in Walla Walla, Washington back in 2010 and have just released their 4th album to date, the self-titled Chastity Belt. ‘Rav-4’ is the fourth track from the album, which is an introverted, moody indie song that engulfs you like a warm duvet on a hungover day. The vocals are strung out and expansive, with almost dissonant, Sonic Youth style harmonies. Jangly guitar riffs and a repetitive lead guitar lay loosely over solemn strings, creating a soundscape that makes you ruminate; whilst dozy drum hits add a strung out texture, that make this slow, indie offering the perfect lullaby to send you off into the land of insular dreams. -Ellie Rose-Davies
